Mission Aviation Fellowship (MAF) has been flying for life since 1945. Nowadays, over 130 aircraft operate in more than 30 countries. Every three minutes, a MAF plane is taking off or landing somewhere on a mission, serving those who live and work where other means of travel are dangerous, exhausting or simply impossible.
We are a Christian organisation that flies light aircraft to inaccessible areas in developing countries to reach out to people in need. We aim to offer our services in areas where local alternatives do not exist or are not suitable.
We are committed to provide a reliable and efficient service and operate according to the highest safety standards and procedures based on many decades of bush flying experience.
Our operations are made possible through donations received from individuals, churches and trusts, allowing us to offer our services at subsidised rates.
In Uganda MAF currently operates 4 aircraft from its base at Kajjansi. The MAF office is located in Kampala.
